1ReWork (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the 1rework.com website and related services (the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you interact with our coming-soon waitlist.
Information We Collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect the following information:
- Email address: Used solely to notify you about 1ReWork launch and updates.
- User role: Your professional role (e.g., Graduate Student, Academic Supervisor) to help us understand our user base.
- Industry/sector: Your sector (e.g., Higher Education, Technology) for market analysis.
- Technical metadata: IP address, timestamp, and browser information for security and rate limiting.
How We Use Your Information
- To notify you when 1ReWork launches and during early access.
- To prevent abuse and enforce rate limits.
- To understand our user base for product development.
Data Storage and Security
We store your information in log files for a maximum of 90 days, after which it is automatically purged. Email addresses are stored as SHA-256 hashes after initial processing. We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
Cookies and Tracking
We use session cookies to manage CSRF tokens and form state during your waitlist signup. We do not use persistent tracking cookies or third-party analytics scripts on this page.
Additionally, we log non-personal visit information (IP address, country code, page visited, timestamp) solely for security monitoring and basic traffic analysis. This data is stored in a server-side log file that is not web-accessible. IP addresses are not combined with any personal data beyond the initial visit.
Third-Party Services
- Google Fonts: We load DM Sans font from Google Fonts. Google may collect anonymized usage data per their privacy policy.
- Tailwind CDN: We load Tailwind CSS from the Tailwind CDN. See Tailwind privacy.
Your Rights
You may request deletion of your data by emailing privacy@1rework.com. You may unsubscribe from any email at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
Children’s Privacy
Our Platform is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
